Enhance a puddling area for butterflies and other wildlife by adding water to rich soil to make a muddy patch with small puddles. Butterflies drink by "puddling". They sip at shallow puddles of water in mud instead of landing in large open water areas. The puddler's shallow well of recycled glass holds soil and water. When the water evaporates, butterflies may be attracted to the minerals left behind from the hard water and soil. Once butterflies know where they can find these minerals, they may return regularly. Place it in a conspicuous nook to transform your outdoor space into an enchanted garden. Made of fired stoneware clay. Made in the USA. 6 1/2"w x 10"h x 1" d.
