Comments about Shop NWF - D2C for Pine Cone Bird Feeder:

Product Comments: The item is a bird feeder in the shape of a pinecone. It has little spoon shaped cones to put seeds on. It doesn't have a good landing place for the birds so I glued sticks to the outer edge of the spoon shaped cones for the birds to land. They don't seem to like it very much yet. I also don't think the metal ring to hang it from will support the weight of the cone though the winter. It's also kinda pricey just for cute.

Comments about Shop NWF - D2C for Pine Cone Bird Feeder:

Product Comments: Nice design but mounting chain is too short and not securely attached to feeder. The mounting chain broke loose from the feeder after we installed it on a tree and it cannot be fixed part of the top of the feeder broke off with the chain. This is a very weak link and should be strengthen. I could not repair it and cannot return it as had thrown away shipping box and return label. $50 down the tube. I recommend you not sell any more of these until this failure, or potential failure, is fixe.

Merchant response: Our apologies that your experience with us was not more positive. Our Customer Service team will be contacting you.

Comments about Shop NWF - D2C for Pine Cone Bird Feeder:

Product Comments: The first one of these arrived damaged; one of the pine cone "cups" for bird seed was smashed in transit, and the shards were in the box, too. But I contacted Customer Service and another one arrived quickly. I have to commend Customer Service for being so nice and accommodating. The second bird feeder arrived just fine. It's not outside yet, but it will be within the next few days. It's attractive and unusual for a bird feeder, and I hope that "our" birds are as happy with it as they are with their ground feeders. I just hope the squirrels stick to the ground feeders and don't use this as a trapeze.

Comments about Shop NWF - D2C for Pine Cone Bird Feeder:

Product Comments: I have mine on a wrought iron hanger in the front yard outside my office window. I got it last year and once the birds figured out what it was they really went for it. The over-wintering Juncoes were the first, followed in short order by finches, bushtits, chickadees, and curve-billed thrashers. Scrub and Pinon jays were next, then a couple of Evening Grosbeaks, pine siskins, amd many others. At times I counted up to nine on it at one time, so the design obviously allows enough room for a number at once. The highlight came a couple of weeks ago when I looked out and saw a Magpie on it (see below). Others who have seen it in my pictures have wanted to know where I got it. A striking and unusual feeder, easy to clean too. Get one!
