        This excellent quality dinnerware was purchased in 2 sets for my daughter's family with 6 young children who handle the dishes a lot as they help out. Since it is melamine it is lightweight for the little ones to carry and will not break if dropped. The artwork is beautiful as is the finish. I think they will be very pleased with this Christmas gift. The only drawback is they are only top shelf dishwasher safe, but the children usually wash the dishes by hand anyway. I am very pleased with this purchase, especially with the sale price!
