Hairy, Red-headed & Red bellied Woodpecker Nesting Box

$49.99 each

Only a few varieties of woodpeckers will live in a manmade box, but the hairy, red-headed and red-bellied woodpeckers regularly do so. This nesting box comes with wood chips and a slate predator guard to keep squirrels from enlarging the entrance hole. 17 1/2"h x 7 1/2"w x 9 3/4"d.

Comments about Shop NWF - D2C for Hairy, Red-headed & Red bellied Woodpecker Nesting Box:

Product Comments: On behalf of our condo association in Florida I purchased 4 bird houses for red bellied woodpeckers. They have been plaguing our buildings creating numerous holes. We thought that if we provided them with nice housing, they might leave ours alone. At least one bird house is being occupied, which makes us very happy. We just hope that the word doesn't get out to all other woodpeckers in the area.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Q: Do the sides open to clean out your bird houses. Encourage you to mention if they do, as that makes them much more useful.
