I have mine on a wrought iron hanger in the front yard outside my office window. I got it last year and once the birds figured out what it was they really went for it. The over-wintering Juncoes were the first, followed in short order by finches, bushtits, chickadees, and curve-billed thrashers. Scrub and Pinon jays were next, then a couple of Evening Grosbeaks, pine siskins, amd many others. At times I counted up to nine on it at one time, so the design obviously allows enough room for a number at once. The highlight came a couple of weeks ago when I looked out and saw a Magpie on it (see below). Others who have seen it in my pictures have wanted to know where I got it. A striking and unusual feeder, easy to clean too. Get one!
